I can confirm this hotel remains as described by other visitors, I was going to stay there a day night and wait for my flight the next morning, The room I was in was worst i ever paid money for the basin was cracked, beds/ whole room needed a refurb shower was joke as was toilet. I wish i had taken pictures. Noise could hear traffic easily, as well as the heavy rock music of know doubt residents, I only lasted a few hours there and decided to pay for an earlier flight home. However the staff were very nice, it not their fault the hotel needs money spent on it

transport in sofia
From pat leiper from bulgaria, sent on 19 March 2010
Your public transport information is confusing, especially for people who do not know Sofia, I need to know exactly how to get from Sofia Airport T2 to the central bus station. 84 goes to Orlov Most, what then? Also you state a taxi is about 10 BGN to central city, how much approximately to Central Bus Station?
Dedeman Princess Sofia

My family and I sent new year in this absolutely fantastic hotel and are considering booking again for this year. Everything about this hotel was great I couldn't say anything negative. Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Atlantic hotel
From Bianca from Romania, sent on 04 January 2010
Dissapointing hotel even for one night transit. The advertising on the site is very different from the reality. This hotel looks as it hardly has any clients, it is cold, smells on the hallway and inside the so called "luxury" room. The air conditioning is not working in January - we were brought a portable heating unit as outside it was snowing and the temperature was -4C!! Breakfast was a shame for a 3 star hotel. There are plenty of hotels around which looked much nicer. Atlantic is not a 3star hotel, more like a 2+, with cheap decorations but expensive restaurant.

I have been twice in Sofia and both times I was in Hemus Hotel. I just want to say that Hemus Hotel is wonderful. The best service, the best location in the center of the city and the best availible facilities in the hotel are remarkable. Regards, Ali
