The Blues Master Mark Knopfler Arrives to Bulgaria Today

Mark Knopfler performs "Dire Straits" hits in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia

Mark Knopfler promises to play six of the evergreen hits of his legendary band "Dire Straits" during his concert in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NPC) in Sofia. The tickets for the long-expected show organized by Sofia Music Enterprises were sold out long ago. Music fans snatched up tickets months before the date of the gig.
Knopfler arrives today with a charter flight from Belgrade with his 72-person team. Nine of them will play with him on the stage. Besides Dire Straits' evergreens Knopfler will present pieces of his new solo project - Kill to Get Crimson. The world tour of the legendary guitarist and music writer is dedicated to his new album. The music company Virginia Records has already released Kill to Get Crimson on the Bulgarian music market.
