Closer to Sofia Dance Week

The official program for the first Sofia Dance Week is ready!

Among the performers are "CIE 111" (France), "Ciplak Àyaklar" (Turkey), National Choreography Centre Grenoble "Jean Claude Gallotta" (France), "Ultima Vez" (Belgium) è "Aterballetto" (Italy).

The Bulgarian representatives are "Arabesque" ballet and "Kinestetic" project.

Sofia Dance Week will be held on three separate stages simultaneously - in Hall 1 at NDK, The National Theatre main stage and Theatre "Sofia" main stage.

The festival will be opened by the French "CIE 111" on September 22 in Hall 1, NDK. They will present to the audience their performance "From plus to minus infinity"- the last from the "Space trilogy", inspired by geometry.

The spectacle "Engin-ar" of the Turkish band "Ciplak Ayaklar" in cooperation with the French dancers "C Dans C" is on September 24, followed by "The Unstoppable" and "Sunset Fratell" of the National Choreography Centre, Grenoble "Jean Claude Gallotta" (Thursday, September 25)

ON September 26 ballet "Arabesque" will perform "The Enlightenment of the Stone", staged by the ballet's director Boriana Sechanova.

September 27 and 28 are saved for the Begians "Ultima Vez" who are expected to deliver a double performance of "Mirror".

The festival's closure comes with "Romeo and Juliet" on September 29 by the Italian dancers from "Aterballetto". They will present Rome and Juliet as two young people driving insanely fast to each other. Despite wearing helmets and safety devices and they cannot protect themselves from the overwhelming love, destroying everything on its way.

The tickets for Sofia Dance Week will be available online from the beginning of June.

The official distribution starts on September 1 in the malls, the halls' ticket centers and special stands, situated on populated places throughout the capital Sofia.

The organizers from "Edno" magazine are determined to turn "Sofia Dance Week" into an annual event.
